Leveld
Rising from Southern Illinois comes a
three-piece band with an incendiary Rock & Country Jam sound
that will intoxicate even the most sober listener. Leveld
performs original songs that beautifully blend distinct styles
of: Rock, Blues, Country, R & B, Pop, Bluegrass, and Jazz. Song
lyrics usually tell stories of love and life.
Ten years of paying dues, playing countless smokey clubs and
bars, has granted Leveld with many accomplishments and
experiences. Such as: Winning "1st Place" at the Southern
Illinois Battle of the Bands in August 2004. Producing an eight
song ep, "Four Autumns of Silence" in 2004. Appearances on the
televised, KTVI Fox 2 News "Morning Show", broadcasting from St.
Louis, Mo. The St. Louis, Mo local cable access channel T.V. 10
show, Best of S.T.L., airtime on Carbondale, Il college radio
station WDBX, and Central Illinois radio WDLJ, based out of
Carlyle, Il, where their songs "Beautiful Senorita" and "Gypsy
Run" have been lighting up the request lines. Recently the group
placed 2nd at the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville
"Battle of the Bands", and released their first full length
album: "Breathe New Life". This twelve song original LP is a
great listen for fans of all types of music as it represents
many styles and atmospheres.
Leveld's fusion of sounds are defined by a funky rythmn section,
blazin' guitar attack, and creamy vocal harmonies. Live shows
are full of barefoot jams and good vibes, thanks to the bands
charisma and comedic stories. Equipped with their own sound and
lighting systems, this fiery threesome are ready to heat up any
venue or occasion.
